LaGrange, Georgia isn’t known for its Grinches. Quite the contrary—the Christmas spirit is alive and well in our town. And Santa Claus hasn’t even come yet! Trying to find out what to do this holiday season? No problem. Luckily, we’ve gathered together a list of holiday events happening in Lagrange, Georgia!

43rd Annual Christmas Parade, Dec. 5

What

A tradition hosted by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce, the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade kicks off our list of holiday events happening in LaGrange, Georgia. Christmas spirit will abound in this parade, which will feature marching bands, floats, and even Santa Claus himself! The parade will start in Granger Park, head through downtown LaGrange, and end where it began.

Where

While officially starting at Granger Park, pre-parade activities will take place first at Lafayette Plaza. That’s where the lighting of LaGrange’s Christmas tree will happen. After that, the parade proper commences!

When

The parade is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Pre-parade festivities will be a half an hour earlier, at 5:30 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 7

What

There’s a ho, ho, whole lot of holiday events happening in LaGrange, Georgia this Christmas season. Come sit down for a lovely breakfast with Santa—and a picture to boot! A Christmas-themed craft, as well as a special gift, will follow.

Where

Breakfast with Santa will be at the beautiful Bellevue. It rests at 204 Ben Hill St. in LaGrange.

When

Santa has a schedule to keep, especially this time of year, so this event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Reservations need to be made beforehand. You can make these by calling 706-884-1832.

Holiday Tours at Hills & Dales, Dec. 7

What

Holiday delights await you at Hills & Dales Estate! You’ll be able to tour the grand Callaway home, all spruced up for the Christmas season. Music, along with festive refreshments, will accompany the tour.

Hills & Dales Estate resides at 1916 Hills and Dales Dr. in LaGrange.

When

This holiday tour series starts on Dec. 7 and runs through the Christmas season—to Dec. 28.

Children’s Christmas Celebration, Dec. 14

What

LaGrange is celebration station this season. Free to the community, the Children’s Christmas Celebration will have gingerbread house decorating, story and sing-a-long time, and an appearance from St. Nick!

Where

This celebration will be hosted by the Hills & Dales Estate, located at 1916 Hills and Dales Dr. in LaGrange.

When

The celebration will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Christmas Tea at Bellevue, Dec. 15

What

Beautiful doesn’t do Bellevue justice. Find yourself immersed in beauty as you sip traditional Christmas tea and get in the full swing (or should we say swig?!) of the holiday season.

Christmas/Community Social, Dec. 17

What 

Bring your favorite dish and enjoy time with your neighbors and friends. This social serves double duty—as a celebration of the season and a chance to catch up with fellow members of the community!

Where

The social will be at LaGrange Memorial Library, 115 Alford St. in LaGrange.

When

Meet up with other members of the community on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.
