Okay, we might still be dealing with that persistent summer heat. But as of tomorrow, it’s officially fall! And with the new season comes new opportunities—like visiting pumpkin patches in LaGrange, GA. You can choose between two awesome autumn options: Oakhurst Farm and Abbottsford Farms. Or, you could play it smart and try them both out!
About Oakhurst Farm
First up on the possible pumpkin patches in LaGrange, we have Oakhurst Farm! You may have heard that they host weddings and events. Or, you may have eaten some of their fresh-grown produce. Maybe you even went to their Fall Daze celebration. It kicks off again soon!
As an interesting aside, did you know that Oakhurst Farm also farms their own cattle? Their cows enjoy plenty of space in their green pastures. And, if you ever want to add some seriously tasty local beef to your diet, you can order from them.
Starting Oct. 2, you can pick pumpkins at Oakhurst Farm. You have until Halloween to attend! And when you go, you can also look forward to:
- A mega hamster wheel;
- An interactive hay ride;
- A small animal petting zoo;
- A hay bale jump;
- Two corn mazes;
- And more.
Get your tickets for Fall Daze at Oakhurst! Admission costs $10, with discounts for military members, groups of 10 or more people, first responders, and those aged 65 or older. Additionally, kids 2 and younger can visit for free.
When it comes time to pick out your pumpkin, drive on over to 19710 GA Highway 219. They’re located 16 miles from Whispering Pines!
About Abbottsford Farms
Personally, we think fall should come filled with festivities. Luckily, Abbottsford Farms fits the bill! Each year, they grow small-scale crops and sell jams, produce, and baked goods. In the warmer months, they also run a pick-your-own-strawberry farm. When autumn arrives, they feature a pumpkin picking patch—and they’re about to open for the season.
Oh, and did you know they have an online shop too? Check it out here.
