What’s more, there is no shortage of entertainment, dining, arts, culture, or local traditions. Add in a dash of Southern hospitality and a warm welcome, and again, it’s easy to see why LaGrange is among Southern Living’s Best Small Towns for 2022.

From revitalization to time-honored traditions, there are so many things to love about LaGrange! In fact, we weren’t sure where to start, so we decided to take a look back at our blogs for a year-in-review!
First up, the city showed its commitment to residents by investing in updates for Granger Park and Playground. The renovated park reopened in October with tons of new features, equipment, and more. You can read all about it here.
Secondly, there are a bevy of new businesses coming soon too. For example, Rock Salt Milk Bar and The Oink Joint both have plans to open in the historic Hillside neighborhood. A future Heirloom Donuts in LaGrange is banking on opening this year as well.
Don’t forget to treat yourself to something sweet from Café Brûlée & Dessert Bar when you’re downtown. Or enjoy a good meal at SIP Café and Wine Room in nearby West Point.
