We’ve all heard the saying before: When one door closes, another one opens. In this case, the Chick-fil-A on Commerce Avenue will soon be closing its doors while opening the doors to a brand-new Chick-fil-A Hills and Dales location in LaGrange!
About Chick-fil-A Hills and Dales
As of now, Chick-fil-A Hills and Dales is still in a state of “coming soon.” But, according to previous reports, we do know the fast-food restaurant hopes to be open sometime this summer.
And since today is officially the first day of summer, we’re hoping that “coming soon” will be a “now open” any day!
The report also stated the new location will feature a double drive-thru to help with the flow of traffic, better exits and entrances and more parking that is separate from the drive-thru area. The store will also be one of the first Chick-fil-A locations to debut a new design for the brand.
What’s more, Chick-fil-A isn’t the only popular chain coming to Merganser Commons at Hills and Dales Farm. The upcoming shopping center, which is currently under construction, will feature several well-known brands.

Merganser Commons at Hills and Dales Farm will be anchored by a Publix supermarket, located at 2200 Vernon St. We shared news of the new shopping center and another Publix coming to town last summer if you would like to learn more about it.
Since then, other favorites have announced plans to open locations in Merganser Commons. In fact, the future Chick-fil-A Hills and Dales will have a neighbor that people tend to love a latte. That’s right!
A new Starbucks will be built on a second parcel in front of the shopping center, right next to Chick-fil-A. Jersey Mike’s, a popular sandwich shop, also recently announced plans to open a location in the soon-to-be-complete shopping center.
